Another Time Soda Fountain Cafe

It's a step back in time. We were there in remembrance of Mildred Walker of Richmond. She was our favorite Aunt. She told us to go there 2 years ago today May 1st, 2015. We had driven in from Arlington, and Corpus to visit her. We honored her today by having Chocolate and Banana shakes, adult grilled cheese and ham and cheese sandwiches with fries. The sandwiches are just like mom would make, simple, tasty and oh so good with creamy cheesy melty heaven. and the fries, crispy outside, soft potato inside, nice and hot with just the right amount of salt, shaking up the memories. While I went to Texas family, my wife and I had lunch here and enjoyed the atmosphere. We had burgers and milkshakes, and everything was great. The service was excellent. I knew I was in the right place when they broke out the metal shake machine cup with our milk shakes. We'll be back for banana splinters before we go.

A go to place for an old fashioned burger and fries. No frills no muss. Everything tastes fresh. I have lunch, hit the shops in the downtown area surrounding the cafe for a couple hours and then go back for desert. My fav is a brownie sundae.

Great place to come with kids, watch the trains, and the clown on the tightrope! Shakes desserts are yummy! My favorite thing is the chili dogs! Love the owner! Great service!

Yesterday was my first visit. Love their hamburgers! A great place, and the service was excellent. Highly recommend this place.
