Anthony's Clam House Grill

We had a Saturday night 8:30 reservation for 8 for a mixed age birthday dinner. It was busy but not that busy to let us know they would not be ready for us to sit down until close to 9:30. The person I asked to help on the floor was obnoxious and dismissed my inquiry to speak to the host/hostess or manager. The problem that I had was that NOT ONE person had the decency to alert us to the fact that we should get a snack at the bar etc. The grandmother had a cane and we were famished and a bit tired. With that said, thank goodness that the food was delicious and enjoyed by all. I had a cosmo, the mussels appetizer and the Greek salad with a BIG piece of salmon on top that were all fresh, tasty...

If you're in search of fine dining at an affordable price, look no further than Anthony's Clam House! I’ve had the pleasure of dining here twice, and both experiences were outstanding. Just a heads-up: if you want a seat at the bar, make sure to arrive early! I’ve yet to secure a bar seat myself, but I'm determined to do so one day. The service is consistently excellent, and the food is simply delicious. You really can’t go wrong with any dish, but you must try the clams since they are the restaurant's signature. The Clams Casino is a particular standout. The restaurant's layout is open and each area is distinctly marked by wall art; it feels like you could be in Italy or New York—very charm...

This is my Favorite Italian Restaurant not only here in South Florida, but anywhere. They treat you like you are at a five star restaurant. They're kind, the food is absolutely amazing, and you are like family. The prices are wonderful and they recognize special occasions with a beautiful dessert. We had gotten the clams casino, beef carpaccio, they always serve the wonderful warm bread with the olive oil and garlic dipping sauce. We then got veal Marsala, chicken franchese, with a side of broccoli, and a side of spaghetti. It was our anniversary, and they brought us a wonderful wonderful tiramisu with a sparkler.

I've been visiting Anthony's for a few years, but I have been disappointed during my last couple of visits. The food wasn't as good as usual. I’ll give it one more chance to see if it was just an off day for them. After that, it will be three strikes and I'm out.
