Regretfully adding this review, because the food that I ate today was fantastic. However... I ordered from Uber Eats. I work in the city not far from the restaurant. The $49 banquet at this restaurant was disappointing. The food commentary was not accurate and the set menu was not clearly communicated. The starter was a bland cheese board with tasteless olives and unripe cheese. The next dish, a bread with chopped tomato and thick cheese sauce, was underwhelming. The highlight was supposed to be unlimited pizza, but the two meter long pizzas with limited toppings were only enough for half the table. We received two pizzas from this restaurant, and I hate to say it, but they were BAD. Both pizzas had been assembled very clumsily too much ingredients bunched together, big wads of prosciutto not even spread apart, watery ingredients such as mushrooms/eggplant in big...clumps which had stewed in the oven and were half boiled, not baked. Pizza bases were sloppy and wet, dough so wet it wasn't fully cooked in places. When we picked up pieces of the pizza they were so sloppy that the toppings just fell off. Pizza was fabulous, but you can find similar elsewhere with better service. One of those dining experiences where it seems more about the convenience of the staff then the customers. What you can expect... The bottle of wine you ordered not to be served but...to be left unopened on the table. To be chuckled at when wanting to order that soy flat white. As they are “authentic Italians” it’s just not something they offer! Found this a little hard to believe given many other Italian restaurants offer this, and their food menu caters to dietary requirements (so why not coffees)? To not be able to split your bill.

We had a very pleasant dining experience until we realized the next day that they had overcharged us by $98 (we split the bill with 2 cards, which is why we didn't notice right away). I called the restaurant three times and was promised a call back to resolve the issue, but never received one. I also reached out to them on Facebook, but received no response. After reading other reviews, it seems this is a common occurrence, and I would not recommend this restaurant to my friends or family.

Went to a party on the Morphett street Pizzeria. Unfortunately I was recently diagnosed with Celiac so needed to go Gluten free. I was informed the pizza bases although a Gluten Free cannot be guaranteed Gluten free so went their pasta. received a bowl of...about 30 pieces of small pasta ???Query shop bought) in a small dollop of tomato sauce. It was barely edible but i was willing to pay around $10 for the experince....it was $30 . What an over priced bowl of garbage....

The dining experience was pleasant, but the staff was quite average and rather rude. When I requested separate checks, one for each of us, they insisted that we all pay $100 each on our credit cards (even though the total bill was $300). They refused to accommodate our request for separate transactions, and their attitude was very rude. Saw on TripAdvisor that this was an area to eat at. Saw this place was half full so popped in. We were surprised how quickly the mains came out! All very tasty, authentic Italian. I'm not familiar with SA prices, but $10 for a Peroni...seemed a bit steep considering you could get a main for $23.. All g.

In my diary every week. another great visit, another great pizza. Genuine friendly service and people who know and care about quality of service and food. Good value for money in a sincere environment.
