Antigua Venta Toledo

This was our second visit to Antigua Venta Toledo it's very popular with the locals which is always a good sign and has an extensive menu offering a good choice of reasonably priced tapas and racions (full and half). We ordered a selection of tapas (Russian salad, prawns with salsa verde, garlic chicken, and salmorejo) plus a half racion of fried aubergines with honey, another half racion of cod tempura and a tomato salad. The portions are a good size considering how inexpensive they are. In fact, we may have got a bit carried away when choosing from the menu one or two dishes less would still have filled us nicely. With a few drinks, a coffee to finish and plenty to eat the bill for two of us only came to €33 excellent value for money.

Another visit to Sotogrande and another family outing to this beatiful eatery. Our kids (8 10 love this place. Friendly and warm staff and the food is just beautiful. The garlic Chicken is OUTSTANDING. The boy and I had the chicken (best chicken ever, Dad , a sea bass for my daughter (at 8! and a pork steak for my other half that you could cut with a spoon...bottle of wine and pudding and i couldn't spend more than 70 €. Yearly event now for family MacD.

Everyone was pleasant. We were welcomed as old timers. We were guided through the ordering and when the food arrived we knew it was freshly made like at home. Straight forward ingredients cooked to perfection. We left feeling very satisfied.

Neighborhood restaurant in Guadiaro. Good fresh basic food. Fish and meat. Very friendly staff. Good service and good price. Would definitely go back

Truly delicious garlic chicken and excellent chips cooked in this friendly venta. Good for kids. They also made us a lovely paella to go.
