Apache Pizza Derry (cityside)

Pizza is okay, but using indigenous names such as Apache, Wigwammer, Hiawatha, and Big Chief for pizza names to reflect American style pizza is incredibly insulting. The company claims to use it in admiration and respect for indigenous peoples, but appropriation of a people by bastardizing these names is inappropriate.

Apache Pizza deserves more than just 5 stars. It's quite possibly the best pizza we've ever tasted, with generous portions that offer great value. The staff was exceptionally nice and friendly throughout our visit. The gelato was also delicious—just what we needed to complete our lunch.

The food was decent but fairly basic. I ordered the premium chicken burger meal, but the chicken fillet was a bit dry and thin, and the salad could have been more generous. It didn’t quite feel premium. However, the area was clean, and the service was reasonably fast.

You can definitely count on getting your pizza on time. However, I noticed one of their delivery drivers driving recklessly this evening on Strand Road, speeding at 60 mph in a 30 mph zone, which is quite dangerous. At least they are committed to delivering on time!

We tried extra large pizza, fries, cheese nuggets and garlic bread; it was very nice. Cosy place and very friendly staff. Overall a beautiful experience.

Never a bother, foods always perfect whether it's collection or delivery. Staff are forever being sound and extemely patient.
