I love Aperitif. I moved to Long Island, so I hadn't been here in 2.5 years. WOW was my experience different this time. My husband got the wrong appetizer and the wrong meal. He told the waitress both times and after having to wait for a new appetizer he didn't want to wait for his dinner and mine to get cold so he agreed to eat it. Nothing was taken off our bill even though the waitress told us she would. I mean other than apology from the waitress for two total mess ups, nothing was done. I mean we had our wedding rehearsal dinner at Apertif. I don't think I'll be making the trip back to bayside for Aperitif again anytime soon.
I had gone to their sister restaurant sage in Woodbury which was AMAZING! I was very excited to see there was another one in queens. I ordered the octopus, and escargot which was very good! But then I ordered the lamb chops medium and they came out over cooked, the spinach was also not very good. I sent the lamb back, the waiter brought it back out and now they were rare. He again brought them back and recooked it. It came back better but not as good as the ones at sage.
My family and I decided to take a trip from Manhattan to Queens for a change of scenery for brunch, and we were delighted with our choice of Aperitif Bistro. The food was excellent, and the service was attentive without being intrusive. I will definitely recommend it to friends and family.
I wish I knew the name of our server because he was absolutely exceptional. He’s one of the main reasons I keep coming back to this place; the other reason is the amazing food. You really can’t go wrong here—there’s something for everyone, including the kids!

my family and I dare from manhattan to queens for a step change. we were glad we chose aperitif bistro. the food was very good and the service was attentive, but not overlaid. will recommend it to friends and family.
