My car, along with others, was broken into in the hotel garage. I was already wary as there was evidence of previous break ins broken glass so I parked in a space close to the hotel entrance and in view of cameras. The garage appeared secure as you couldn’t get in or out, on foot or in the car, without using the camera/intercom. I was alerted to my car alarm by an app on my phone at 2am but didn’t see the notification until 4am. The night receptionist had seen the attack on my car on the cctv and had alerted the police who attended and arrested 3 men. Full marks to him for his vigilance. Everything was OK. The personal was quite nice and spoke good English. It is a bit more far away from downtown, but we new it before we booked and we were able to use the busses and trains without any problems. Just at night it is a bit scary as a tourist, cause the neighborhood doesn't look the safest, but we didn't have any trouble. The room was quite clean (which it is a must for us it was maybe a bit small, but not bad, apart from a minibar it has everything you need. super nice and accommodating staff at the reception. room clean. from the railway station, so super reachable. breakfast was not our taste.
