Apollo Banana Leaf

I get so excited about me next Apollo Banana Leaf. Their deliveries really got me through lock down. We went a good few years ago and ordered several meat dishes. Even as a meat eater, I can say that I would 100% go for their veggie dishes every time. So flavourful and delicious. Our go to’s are… Aubergine curry, vegetable kothu, paneer tikka masala, prawn puree, with a fluffy parotta. Highly recommend their (super speedy) deliveries and their BYOB dine in option!

After a first visit we really want to return for more. Not flashy or upmarket, but food was tasty and exciting, and service was calm and good. The aubergine curry was super! We then had kothu which was yummy but we didn't understand how to eat it, so we ordered as a main but it'd go better as a mix with other curries. Great value and will definitely come back cause we very much enjoyed the food! And want to taste their crab massala which apparently is amazing.

Excellent Sri Lankan food. I’ve been coming here for the best part of 20 years. Nothing much has changed thankfully including the legendary decor. Outstanding value, and no corkage charge, although the rice portions are now weirdly expensive.

Food quality excellent We visited Monday 29 August (bank holiday and while arriving late for lunch we felt that they were keen to get everyone out by the 3.00pm closing time

Always superb. Especially the aubergine curry deep fried first then curried. Licensed/ BYOB
