If you have freshly caught fish, I would highly recommend bringing it here to have it prepared for dinner.We brought in fish caught and generously provided to us by our water taxi captain. He recommended Apollo as the only restaurant in town that would prepare fish brought to them. An excellent recommendation! With the Catch of the Day menu option, half our fish was fried and the other half was grilled. The fish was served with salad, potatoes, and pasta. Everything was delicious, the portions were generous, and the service top notch.This dinner was the perfect end to a wonderful visit to Seward.
We were stuck in town due to a road closure and wanted something other than a burger. We tried two different calzones and were not thrilled with either. The food at the restaurant was overpriced and Meh quality. It basically tasted like something I made at home with my kids. There was no seasoning but they came out fast so that was a plus. Our waitress would walk past the table several times and not bother checking on us. We had empty drink glasses and had to wait for her to bring us the check. Overall is was a disappointment and will definitely pass on next time in town.
Took the motorhome to Seward for July 4 weekend. One of our go to places whenever we visit is the Apollo. As usual had a great experience and delicious food! Everything is good here, the Greek pizza is one of my favorites. If you are a visitor and take a fishing charter BRING YOUR FISH HERE and they will cook it for you, it's awesome! The owner and his wife are super friendly and take great pride in serving top notch food and making customers happy. Highly recommend. Thanks Kostas
The food was delicious! The mushroom appetizer had a delicious sauce and even the salad was good! They had plenty of options for food and apparently even offer to take your catch and make a meal out of it for you! The restaurant is themed after late Ancient Greece styles of art with a beautiful mural The Akropolis and classic style pillars around the kitchen. The atmosphere is cozy but the food is more on the expensive side. Overall, very good restaurant!

One of the only places in town that will cook your catch (if not the only place)! Unfortunately, the sides that came with it were rather abysmal. For example, there were long, irregularly shaped carrot shreds in our salad, and the lettuce was quite wet. Our fish turned out very well due to the freshness of the catch, but at $28/person, it is quite pricey.Service is a little slow and some staff seem quite disgruntled.
Their dolma is vegetarian and the pita bread it came with was so soft! Good tatziki sauce as well. Calzone was fresh out the oven and tasted great. Nice atmosphere, staff was very friendly and helpful.Vegetarian options: A handful of veg options
A long wait for a table as a large group was present monopolizing the staffs attention. The pizza was delicious but skimpy on the topping. The support staff was excellent in keeping water glasses filled and clearing of plates.
OMG! The best meal so far on our vacation. We brought our catch. It was cooked two ways to perfection! Don't know if I'll ever get to Seward again, but if you are there, definitely go to the Apollo!

The Service and food were great. They were super busy but kept checking in on us. They cooked a fish we had caught for us and we got a pizza too. It was all great.
We had the 16 inch Tundra pizza and a beer. The pizza was absolutely delicious ans very filling. Decent prices on beer as well. Super friendly staff as well.
