We used to love this restaurant for their great food and friendly service, but our recent experience was disappointing. The ventilation system was bad, the service was indifferent, our food didn't all come out together, the chips for the tuna appetizer were soggy, the music was too loud, the chicken paillard was burnt and cold, and the sole was overcooked. It's difficult for me to write this, but hopefully they will take notice and improve. If not, the half-empty restaurant on a Saturday evening may be a sign. It saddens me to leave this review.
The food is very mediocre. The service was fine but they ignored our dietary restrictions. The only thing we asked was no pork. In the vegetarian soup there were 2 chunks of pork fat. They said they had made a mistake after we had started the soup. It was very disturbing. The quality of food is very poor. Large quantities but no taste.
The restaurant was busy and bustling, but the staff was able to keep up with the demand. The food was delicious overall, however, the fondue had curdled into a liquid with chunks, making it difficult to coat the items we dipped into it. Despite this mishap, I would still return to the restaurant in the future.
I was disappointed because I had heard/read good things. So maybe it was an off night--Thursday. The mussels were pretty good. The escargots en croute not at all. There is one definite positive--the FOUR course prix fixe menu is $45. I doubt one can find anything like that elsewhere.

Empanadas are a must. Plenty of delicious food on the plate (take home for another meal) Great steak, chorizo, seafood, plantain, guacamole, etc. Next time, I will try the whole Red Snapper. Looked tasty. Soothing music and not a crowded place. Quite enjoyable.
The tuna tartare was fantastic, but the escargot was only average. The duck dish was mostly fat with very little meat, and the orange sauce was lacking in flavor. Overall, the dish was disappointing. However, the staff was pleasant.
The food was DELICIOUS and the service was great too. We had the octopus and mussels appetizers, then the steak and Branzino for our entrées. Everything was cooked to perfection
We had a lovely dinner. It was unexpectedly very good. We had the empanadas and the Colombian national dish. Everything was very tasty especially the steak and sweet plantains.

Wonderful group of people with delicious food. Perhaps add a bottle of bourbon to the bar selection?
