Apple Spice came to our rescue! When planning the catering for our small, socially responsible wedding in July, we wanted to ensure everything was as safe as possible. We reached out to Jim at Apple Spice in Parsippany, who recommended the best options for our event. He assured us that the entrees would be individually packaged, and he definitely delivered on that promise. Jim was also very accommodating with our vegetarian choices. The food arrived on time, was professionally set up, and, most importantly, it tasted fantastic! Our guests felt happy and safe. Thank you, Apple Spice!
I work at a hospital and for social worker month, my department was sent lunch catered by Apple Spice Box. We were sent chicken, mixed veggies, a red potatoes, salad, and bread. The chicken arrived burnt, the potatoes only had rosemary on them and were not fully cooked, and the veggies were steamed with no seasoning. It was not an appealing lunch at all in my humble opinion. But the one star is mainly for the burnt chicken, but the veggies and a salad were O and K. Definitely not a good representation of any catering company.
I ordered from this restaurant for a group, and the delivery arrived right on time. I specifically ordered the vegetable sandwich with cucumbers, mushrooms, and tomatoes, requesting no cheese. Unfortunately, when I finally got to eat it, I discovered there was cheese in the sandwich, which I had to remove. Overall, the sandwich was quite delicious. I particularly enjoyed the combination of pesto mayo, regular mayo, and mustard, and the bread had a sweet flavor. All in all, I had a good experience, despite the cheese mishap.
I ordered for a group from this spot. I ordered for delivery and everything arrived on time. For myself I ordered the vegetable sandwich with cucumbers, mushrooms, tomatoes etc. I asked for the sandwich to not have cheese. When I got a chance to eat, low and behold, the sandwich had cheese which I had to remove. Besides that the sandwich was very tasty. I really liked the pesto mayo, mayo and mustard combo on the sandwich and the bread had a semisweet taste. All in all I had a good experience minus the cheese.

The sandwiches are a bit on the expensive side, but they are quite delicious. If you decide to order online, be aware that they do not pay attention to any special instructions you may have. I recommend calling in your order if you need specific requests. Unfortunately, I received the wrong item four times, even after reaching out to the owner, who promised to resolve the issue. I would give 4 stars for the food, but only 2 stars for the service.
I used to order from Apple Spice years ago and the food was always good but the delivery was terrible. Today I ordered and picked up my self in store. The egg salad sandwich I ordered was bland, runny and quite messy to eat. The veggies and dip looked good but there are so many vegs in the bag that I can't get out what I want without everything jumping out all over my desk.
Jim and his team at Apple Spice are fantastic. I have attended events in the past where they handled the catering, and I’ve always been impressed. Their boxed lunches are excellent and incredibly convenient. I highly recommend them to anyone—whether for an office or individual—seeking a high-quality meal at a reasonable price.

Such an amazing lunch spot for boxed lunches ! The whole team is so great to see Ivan, Chris, Jim and his wife Carrie! Ivan always puts a smile on my face !
