I visited on a Saturday night, and it was practically empty—so quiet that you could've fired a cannon through the restaurant without disturbing anyone. We were seated right away, and our drinks arrived quickly, but after that, things took a turn for the worse. My friend ordered mozzarella sticks, and they were served cold in the middle. My prime rib was tough—definitely not what you expect from a good cut of meat. If the quality of the meat isn’t up to par, they should marinate or age it to avoid that rubbery texture. I stopped by this Applebee's on Tuesday evening while passing through, looking to enjoy a few beers and some dinner. I always sit at the bar, and I was impressed watching the bartender juggle her busy night. The bar was packed, and the restaurant was bustling, but she handled it all like a pro! I stopped here passing through Tuesday evening to have a few beers and dinner. I always sit at the bar wherever I go, and I watched the bartender sling drinks, and she was extremely busy. She had a full bar and the restaurant was pretty busy and she rocked it!!I frequent Applebee's consistently and I have to say that this bartender, Marianne, has been the best Applebee's bartender I've ever witnessed. Our server attended to our needs, but his demeanor was a bit off; he tended to stare at us, though he was a competent waiter. We ordered a steak with shrimp on the side. The steak, while clearly cooked, didn't look very appetizing and was quite overcooked, though it still tasted decent. The shrimp, on the other hand, was really delicious. wow, the management at this place is fluctuating. two server on a Sunday night. one of the server bars tends. the server make a thing to a time when they serve. let it go like multitask. also they have waited for men and then there is no greeting. I'll just leave her up there. has ordered an appetizer and the waiter has not even put it on the order. I'll wait here forever to get our fucking and not refilling. people looking for online orders and giving false orders.

I think this Applebee’s has some of the best management and staff in the Kansas City Metro area. Although the menu items are the same as at other locations, it's the people at this Applebee’s that truly make it stand out. The food tastes fresher and is served hot off the grill, along with the excellent service you would expect. Thank you, Olathe Applebee’s, for all that you do!

Worst service. Had to seat ourselves since the girl walked to the back when we came in and never came back out until we sat ourselves and said something. Needless to say, I Got sick immediately after having a few sips of margarita there.Better go anywhere but here!!! And was charged for meal even though had to leave and didnt even get to eat. HORRIBLE!

Food was great, server was great. Only reason for 4 stars are that it was pretty empty and we had to wait 15-20 minutes standing at the door for a table. Many different employees coming out from the back seen us but nobody sat us.

Not busy at all and had plenty of staff, over probably. It took us foreverto gey seated, ordered, AMD foid brought to us. Steak was ok. Shrimp was good.
