one of the worst experiences i’ve had at this location. we were sat for over and hour and it took half of our group 30 minutes to get their food, after we had already finished ours. carmen dilly dallied at the register chatting with coworkers and joked with our table about the food not being out yet. he went back to the kitchen and magically the food was ready and it was all cold. it was obviously sitting out for an extended period of time but he was too busy chatting to bring it out. he was very inattentive, didn’t even give napkins or cutlery until we asked for it. i’d get it if he was running around busy but he was very obviously leisuring around the restaurant. extremely annoying.
This place was pretty good for an Applebees. Just have realistic expectations. Don’t order any of the cocktails on the menu. They will all give you tummy aches if you’re over 25. We ordered vanilla vodka with Diet Coke and it was perfect. The bartender was very nice and hospitable. The food was decent too. I expected the shrimp in my shrimp bowl to be dry but they were surprisingly juicy. Not a bad place to hang before or after a movie.
Wow. Been here so many times, but this was the absolute worst. Table sticky, no plates or silverware. Drinks took 10 min with excuses, nachos were ice cold, and then the best part? No silverware left so they handed us plastic ware. Final straw, never returning without some serious overhaul of mgmt. By the way, manager didn't care less about us leaving, a sarcastic sorry was it. Be warned.
Terrible. How did we get here? The team forgot 3/4 of my order, when I asked to speak to manager (Emma) she basically made it seem like it may have been my mistake that I only received a 1/4 of my order. Thieves (Applebees), Emma's managerial attributes...absolutely horrendous. Get it together out there.
