Do you want to eat somewhere that is slow, not on time, and gets your order wrong? Good news, this is the place for you! We ate in once and service was slow even though the restaurant wasn?t even a third full. The dining room was also a littleuncomfortably warm. Our server was nice though. When my husband and I were sick with COVID I decided to order food for delivery.Our order was wrong and missing items, not to mention what we did get was cold. I called to see what they could do and they toldme to come pick it up, which I wouldn?t want to do COVID or not since I paid for delivery. Bathrooms really disgusting. Most of the staff was busy flirting with each other. Used the bathroom and just outside of it was a male employee all over a female employee! I realize it's hard to get staff but keeping them away from each other instead of putting on a show would have been appreciated. Food was fine, delivered promptly and our waitress did a fine job and was attentive. Her finger nails scared me though. At least 6 inches long and curving looking like swords was a little extreme. We never saw issues like this in the Annapolis location before it closed. Frankly not worth the trip from Annapolis.
Decent American eatery in Bowie. Not too busy and food came out fresh. Facility was clean. Service was fast and friendly. The quality of the food is what you should expect from a national chain, which us good when they get it right. With a lot of otherestablishments nearby closing during the pandemic, this one remains and is a solid choice for a lunch, afternoon get-together,or quick dinner. Family-friendly options or heading over to the bar, they've got you covered.
Haven't been to Applebee's in approximately 10 years. The one in College Park, near my house closed several years ago. Anyhow, the chicken bowl at Bowie location was so good. They gave me a lot of rice, chicken, guacamole. Surprisingly so good. Thatmargarita was good also. Big ups to the music that was playing. Made me want to get up and dance a couple of times. Willdefinitely be visiting this location again.

Service was bad, the whole experience was bad. Talked to other customers, they feel the same way. The bartender didn't show up for work (lunch) and the waiter was bad. We still sat in the bar area, it took 10 minutes to get sodas. People came in after us and were greeted before us. The atmosphere food was not welcoming or warm feeling. It felt like we were a inconvenience to the staff.
Our server, Damien, was fantastic! We were seated promptly, and Damien provided attentive service throughout our visit. Our food arrived quickly and was served hot. We’ll definitely be returning to Applebee’s, and next time with a larger group. Overall, everyone had a great time. While the bar seating was busy, there were plenty of tables available.
The restaurant was surprisingly low-key. The manager was juggling both managing and cooking, which was commendable. However, the waiter expressed how exhausted he was, resulting in a lack of quality service. I understand that the pandemic has impacted staffing, and I empathize with their situation, but it didn’t enhance my experience.
This Apple Bee's restaurant located in Bowie, MD, was nearly empty but we had to wait to be seated. Chicken Alfredo very dry, had to ask for more sauce. Daughter's requested medium rare steak was well done/dry. I will stop here. I have crossed Apple Bees of my list!

Came at 7pm, we got a table 10 minutes later, no one helped us, workers just passed by. One of them got us a table and said he'll be back. We waited one hour and GOT NO SERVICE, we left at 8:05 when I took this photo. No service at all
