I went here with my friends on Saturday, September 3, 2022 at around 6 PM. We were brought to a booth and immediately greeted with a bad attitude from our server, who’s name I believe was Lily A. We had asked to split the check just a minute after we said not to, because we had a money issue. She proceeded to tell us off, saying that we can’t and it’s our issue because we didn’t say it at first. Throughout the whole time we were there, she would always come back and show disrespect. Once we ordered, she waved her hand, motioning for us to hand her the menus with a glare on her face. my man and I were at this place several times. it was always good! but this day we had the best service I can remember, all over the last time. our server rich was the most friendly attentive and nurturing person. he made sure that eating came out in a perfect order. the timing was excellent. all the recommendations that he made in drinks eating or dessert were absolutely exact on site. Terrible service! We we walked in the 2 employees at the door were rude from the beginning. It 's not what they said, but how they said it. Then our waitress got our order wrong. We asked for one riblet platter and she brought two over. Our Double Crunch wings were not crunchy, so we sent them back. She also gave me the wrong drink. Then we were charged for the platter that we did not order. Like I said, horrible service!!
Our dining experience was made pleasant thanks to the prompt relocation of our table. Our host, Lexus, along with our server, Shad, were both friendly and welcoming. The customer service was outstanding! However, the boneless chicken we ordered was a bit tough. Fortunately, they resolved the issue by suggesting a dish with bones instead. Thank you for a wonderful experience, especially after 3 months of quarantine!

I had a wonderful experience with my waitress, Rachel! She has amazing energy and is undoubtedly one of the best waitstaff I’ve encountered in any restaurant. If you find yourself at the Applebee's in Linden, NJ, be sure to ask for Rachel; she works on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays! Rachel, you are fantastic!!! I had a fantastic experience today at Applebee's in Linde after a long time. Rich was our server, and he went above and beyond to make our visit special. The service was exceptional, and the food was served perfectly. Because of this great experience, I will definitely recommend this place to friends and family. Thank you for making our day brighter!
It was alright. Server was sub par, food was decent, i ordered a steak but the piece of meat they gave me wasn't what they advertise, it was more like a piece of chuck roast, chewy and tough to get through. Prices were good though.
Rich was such a wonderful waiter! Attentive, personable, and kind. Made sure we had everything we needed for a great lunch. I will be sure to request him again the next time we come to this location!
