Can't fault the Applegarth, stayed for 3 nights with the wife for her birthday and really pleased with our choice. Excellent position for getting around windermere and the lake, hot tub suites are very comfortable, food is faultless as are the staff who are very helpful and polite. Ample on site parking and easy walking to the town if/when you stay just be aware it's a good 15-20 minute walk to the lake, if you struggle it's also uphill on the way back. Worth staying here, thank you to all the Applegarth team.
We experienced top-notch hospitality at this restaurant. From the warm welcome to the luxurious suite with high-quality furnishings, every detail was carefully thought out. The restaurant and bar were both elegantly decorated, and we thoroughly enjoyed our evening there. After a restful night, we ended our stay with a delicious breakfast. This establishment truly exemplifies hospitality at its best, and we can't wait to visit again.
Our stay was fantastic as always! The staff was friendly and helpful, always willing to go above and beyond. The suite was beautifully clean with a whirlpool and rain shower, making it the perfect place to relax and recharge. There was no pressure to eat in the restaurant, but the food was fabulous and the bar was a great spot to unwind and enjoy a drink. This is definitely our favorite place to stay and we will be back soon!
The staff greeted us warmly and politely. We were upgraded to a newly renovated room upon arrival without any complaints. Although I would have been satisfied with the room I had originally booked, the new room was absolutely fantastic and spotlessly clean. It was the cleanest room and hotel I have ever stayed in. I will definitely return. Kudos to the entire team who manages the facility - you should be proud of yourselves.
