we celebrated the birthday of a friend while we were in whistler and decided to treat ourselves to a beautiful dinner. we had reservations (for 6 people,) so that getting a table was no problem. everything seemed good when we sat and tried. to decide on cocktails before dinner. we ordered our drinks, our wine for dinner and our appetizers. then our server disappeared. when we saw that others sit after us and get their drinks and appetizers, we sat there for 30 minutes or so without anyone checking on us. no drinks, no eating, no service. we finally had enough and wanted to find a manager. we told him it was unacceptable service. the restaurant was busy, but they had enough waiting staff when...

we chose the restaurant on the basis of its selection of seafood and that was a good plan to utter and sushi were all beautifully presented and perfectly fresh. the subsequent healed was also delicious. only later we discovered his association with...Blue water cafe our new favourite restaurant in vancouver! there was also a great relaxed mood and it felt like a place you could relax for hours. while the local fizz not available, the viognier we tried was excellent.
