I ordered two salted caramel chocolate chip cookies, but it seems Arby's no longer bakes them fresh. The cookies I received were smaller, thicker, and packaged in cellophane. Even after heating, they were dry and crumbly—one even broke in half when a staff member tossed it from the back to the manager. The salted caramel flavor was barely noticeable, and there was no visible best-by date on the package. I was quite disappointed. I also thought about getting a turnover, but the four I saw were left unwrapped and uncovered on the counter. In hindsight, I probably should have just walked away.
Arby's is really good, though a bit pricey. Their medium-sized portions are bigger than McDonald's large, which says a lot. They have a great variety of tasty options on the menu. If you’re not a fan of too many hamburgers, this is the place for you, especially with their shaved meat that’s flavorful and not greasy. I tried the turkey wrap, which was delicious, and I always order their Jamocha shake—it’s amazing.
I usually order pickup through Grub Hub, and I've had my share of issues in the past, but recently, the food has been hot and fresh, and the service has been excellent. About a year ago, I wrote a terrible review that was well justified. I'm happy to say that things have significantly improved. The service and food have been excellent during my recent visits. It seems the management took the negative feedback seriously and made the necessary changes. Well done!
