Attended a family get together here . Very pleasant decor and surroundings and pleasant staff. Our party chose a variety of meals from the quite limited menu too much seafood fish! I had Camembert which was absolutely lovely and cooked to perfection . However ,my second course was “ crispy chicken with a chilli sauce “ and I was bitterly disappointed with it . Chicken was soggy nothing “ crispy “ about it .Sauce was quite pleasant very sweet and sticky as honey based and I was glad I had asked for it on the side as a little went a long way. we booked the restaurant for our Golden Wedding Anniversary . I ordered the battered fish and I have never been so disappointed. The fish was dry overcooked and looked like it was microwaved fresh from the freezer. It was inedible and was sent back. Running out of draft beer in the restaurant by approx 20:30 hours on a Friday night is also unacceptable. We had no complaints about the servers and cook as they can only work with what they are given. They did not charge for this part of the meal but what should have been a special occasion turned into a disaster
Very disappointed with food here. Scallops starter was really bad, it was raw and weird texture and 4 little pieces with strange tasting sauce. Therefore had to return it for another starter. Monkfish scampi main wasn't great either weird texture felt slightly undercooked and very bland. Service was ok but we wouldn't be going there again.
Whenever we stay in Inverurie, we make it a point to have dinner at Ardennan restaurant. The food is always delicious and accompanied by a few glasses of wine, all served by friendly and attentive staff. The Manageress is always available for a chat and a laugh. I highly recommend this restaurant.

When we saw the menu on FB we booked straight away and was not disappointed. All 3 courses were excellent, especially the beef Wellington which was excellent! The pairing wines were perfect The service was spot on. Would certainly recommend this place
I have been working in Huntly and decided to stay at the Ardennan because of its relaxed atmosphere and great restaurant food. The staff is friendly and the rooms are comfortable. I highly recommend dining at this establishment.
Been here a few times, but most recently for Mother's Day on Sunday 19th March 2023. Really lovely food, no complaints whatsoever. Staff are very friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend and will no doubt be back soon :
This is one of the few restaurants I’ve been to where I wanted to order everything on the menu. All of it looked great. All the meals we ordered were fantastic too. The staff were lovely and we will be back soon.

Have been several times, always a beautiful meal, freshly prepared food at a high standard, and tasty cocktails! Lovely modern restaurant and friendly staff.
I challenge you to clear your plate . Lovely Valentine’s Day meal, pleasant and attentive service. An all-round good experience.
