the interior has this beautiful flowing. I think it was an old metzgerei or something. probably from the early 1900s. a friend of mine warned me that the waiter in the evening has the bad habit of stealing her change. (i.e. they are involved in a lively talk, they pay her a beer with a 20, and the waiter just goes away and hopes that they forget it.) that is exactly what happened when I was there. it's nice to see. .. but my advice would be to simply google photos from the place and avoid going there. neither eating nor service is worth it.
I visited some restaurants and caffes during my stay in the opposite of moabit and this was my favorite. great place for breakfast. I actually was there a few times. Whenever I passed by, no matter what day, they had many customers. it is clearly popular among the locals. the staff is friendly and the service was good. a lot of choice on their menu. I liked the mushroom and petersilienomelett. . definitely worth a visit if they are in the opposite!
they come here with high expectations, because I had a great meal at lunchtime. but during dinner these witnesses can apparently not cope with their jobs. only two courts ordered, one forgotten, and need customers who always ask for suppe. when the savor comes, there is no broth and the steak, now, I will propose not to try.
for lunch. menus delivered, but 20 minutes later still waiting for service of any kind. had a train to return to the airport, gave up and went. I saw how the waiter was sitting and talking to a band of friends at another table. Come on, people - we all have our schedules!

beautiful place with tables also in the free ... varied menu and beautiful and plentiful portions ... prices in the average of the city .... even though something outside the center is worth.
friendly staff, court came fast. the menu is available in English. the prices are fair. I've eaten a flaky cake. it wasn't the best I ever had, but it was good and fresh.

very well eaten, plentiful and qualitatiw typical German dishes. near the subway birkenstraße. helpful and accommodating waiter, excellent beer!!!
