I booked The Woodman Pinner for my brother’s wake and from the first conversation with the manager, I knew I had chosen the right place. He immediately put me at ease and made the whole experience seamless. We went beforehand to see the space and enjoyed a tasty Sunday roast. We were running late but they accommodated us still. On the day of the funeral, it was a tough day for us all, but the staff made everyone feel at ease. The food was plentiful and tasty, service discrete and professional. I can’t thank them enough and will be back in happier times. I recommend them wholeheartedly!
Thanks to Julie and Perry, Milly Grace who were all instrumental in making the celebration of our dear mums life so wonderful. The room is an excellent size, warm and comfortable with fresh flowers on every table. There was a large screen and facility to play our own music which really made the event so special. The food was good and plentiful and served efficiently by the lovely staff. We were under no pressure to leave .. which was just as well as nobody wanted to! Thanks again guys, would not hesitate to recommend
We came here today for Sunday lunch and it was absolutely delicious. We were sat in a lovely area of the bar and it was clean and spacious. The roast dinner was yummy and tasted truly like home cooking. My children devoured their food and they are normally fussy. The lady owner was so friendly and her customer service skills were excellent. Dale was equally friendly and personable. I was very impressed all round and will definitely be returning!! Thanks for accommodating our last minute booking.
