Hey Travoodies Hey. I enjoy trying different cuisines. Yesterday for lunch my taste buds where waltzed right into Venezuela for a delightful dish. A quaint little eatery with powerful flavors. About Arepa Bar!After moving to Minnesota in 2016, Venezuelan Chef Soliel Ramirez pursue her culinary dreams. Her restaurant bringds 100% true flavors and authentic love from Venezuela I opted for the Pabellon Criollo , which is shredded beef, black beans, white rice and sweet plantains. When I tell you the shredded beef is soooo delicious. I literarlly was savoring each bite. Everything togther left my taste buds wants more. I can not wait to get back there. I can only hope that it is as good as the f...

Pabellón is quite good, but they really need to add more beans without charging extra to keep the balance right. The empanadas are decent—not the best, but they have a nice crunch. I must say they make the best cachapas in town, easily worthy of +10 stars! On the flip side, their tequeños are the worst, deserving a -15 stars. It's also really pricey here! Just a heads-up, it's more expensive than you'd expect for what you get. We didn’t try the arepas, but they did look good.

I am not a foodie person but definitely in this place you can taste their delicious flavors perhaps because they are made with fresh produce meats, with excellent customer service characteristic of all Global Market businesses, they manage to create that good experience. I have to say that it's expensive to eat here and it can be an inconvenience for some people but personally I am happy to pay because it's worth it.

The chef was amazing! My husband and I came a few minutes before close, we both have never had Venezuelan food before, and Wow! Seriously some of the best food I have ate in a really long time. We had the arepas with shredded chicken and empanadas with chicken and they were so amazing! I will definitely be going back, and will tell all my friends to check this awesome place out as well! I stopped by as I was recommended of this Venezuelan restaurant by my friend and I am glad I did! I didn’t know what to try so I asked them to put together a plate for me. Chicken was very well seasoned and the side grilled veggies were so fresh. I will be coming back to try other items on their menu.

Terrible prices, and they automatically add a 20% service charge. I paid $37 for two arepas at the counter, and that didn't even include a drink. The food was good, but I won’t be coming back. Good luck!
