The waiter and waitress we unfortunately met had the manners of a goat. They earn a living from being polite and showing good manners to customers/potential customers. Good manners cost nothing. They are NOT doing customers a favour, they earn a living from customers. Try...good etiquette Etiquette is the set of conventional rules of personal behaviour in polite society, usually in the form of an ethical code that delineates the expected and accepted social behaviours that accord with the conventions and norms observed by society. If some of the staff at this place don't enjoy the work then resign and do us all a favour. If passing again I would sooner go hungry than call in to this place. I...

We have visited this little gem on many occasions for our cream teas in this idilic location ......and I can honestly say have had great service and food ,unfortunately we visited on Sunday with my parents managed to park outside easily and all decided to...have a sandwich I understand totally that the menu was reduced due to COVID but really the quality was terrible and we paid what I thought a lot of money for this food which to be quite honest very dissapointing which COVID should not reflect on quality ..... the bread a little on the stale side and the beef was so fatty the coleslaw was a cheap and nasty one ....... you pay good money and expect good quality

on one of our regular rounds of trimpley we have visited here some paints (august, september and November)and while not cheap, it is finally a small load in a non-occupied area, they expect slightly inflated prices. everything we had. from here, from cake to scones to sausage rolls, was on a high quality. with Kovid protocols at place and place we have always sat outside over the road that is in a small despair, but offers a beautiful view over the river to the railway station, so hopefully again to offer more seats soon. If we do this walk, we will visit here again, that says everything they need to know.

visited Arley now for best part of twenty years .. The views and walks are as good as ever but the Tea Rooms has been washed right down the drain ... Not only if you have a problem they are always right and by reading...the reviews the issues are always with the customers !!! strange that !! staff training ... if any ... then argue the point even tho your right and the prices are in black and white straight in front of you !!!! over priced and stale is all i can say ..... i await your sarcastic response.... your cafe is well past its sell by date .. along with your manners !!! exceptionally unfriendly staff. asked for a table, said they were all reserved, but no one had turned up and it was almost the half past when we finally got one, they didn't want to move a sunshade without...to talk about, although it was an exceptionally hot day. only general attitude and extreme agreement with regard to the codes of which we were already aware. the Scenarios would have had to align themselves for all this without saying that they did not. Chief should work on her customer service skills.

I visited Arley Tea Rooms in July. When I arrived, there were three workers in the riverside garden and all the tables were empty. I asked if they were open and after a brief discussion among themselves, they said yes. The woman went to choose a table, but when I tried to order, she rudely informed me that we had to order before sitting down. It felt like an unwelcoming attitude, so we chose to leave. We ended up going across the river to the Harbour Inn where the staff were incredibly friendly.

Very bad service waited a while for drinks to come told our food would be a couple of minutes minutes later our drinks where cold sandwiches where cheap meat poor excuse for a salad I asked the lady why it was so long to...wait she was very rude snapped at me saying it was the kitchen was small but I explained thts not my fault she begrudgingly replaced the drinks I asked to be refilled service was appalling and poor quality food for the prices.

I frequently visit this restaurant while taking a stroll along the river. The coffee, cakes, and toasties are all delicious. The staff is friendly and the prices are reasonable. It is a wonderful experience to sit by the river in any season, enjoy a snack and a drink, and watch the world go by (and sometimes even the steam trains). Reserva una mesa ahora

The sandwiches were disappointing, as the sausages were very small and thin. I was left in shock that a place like this could survive with such skimpy portions.
