It has been a while since we were last here. The colorful decorations make the place look bright and festive, Spanish music plays in the background too. We ordered the Chile Relleno a la carte with a side of rice, taquito plate with rice and beans and 2 soft drinks our food tasted good as always friendly staff and excellent service ? our waitress Yolanda is THE BEST! She was attentive to our drinks and food,. We would recommend this place to family and friends!
You can tell the food is going to be delicious when the salsa is so flavorful! I tried the huevos rancheros, and I was pleasantly surprised by the bits of chili verde with pork that were added. The mango and lime margaritas are fresh and not from a pre-made mix, which was incredibly refreshing! I will definitely be returning!
I've been going to Armandos for 35 years, and they have never disappointed me. The authentic Mexican food is the best I've ever had, and their drinks are exceptional too. The owner, Yolanda, is a very kind lady.

I missed this place.... I remember when they were in San Gabriel, then Rosemead and now in So. EL Monte. Always a pleasure to eat here. Friendly atmosphere and best Beans/Sauce North of the Border!

The food was quite good, but it was a bit strange to find that we were the only customers in the restaurant. Our total bill came to about $50 for two people.
