As I waited for my pizza, I overheard employees loudly voicing their complaints about their jobs and expressing their disdain for working at the restaurant. A Hispanic man with a ponytail repeatedly proclaimed that he didn't care if he was fired because he could easily find work elsewhere. The unprofessional and immature behavior of the staff has turned me off from returning. There are plenty of other places in the area where I can order good pizza from happier and more professional individuals.
My main complaint was they have Monday deal on deep dish. I called and ordered a small when I could have gotten the large for less money. I think the staff should know when to mention deals. Otherwise she seemed nice. Otherwise at pick the pizza didn?t see that hot. They said 20 minutes but place was empty. So I think it was sitting for a bit. The pizza itself was just okay, I had higher expectations given the reviews. I would say this closer to a frozen pizza that was left
I?ve been meaning to check this place out ever since it won best pizza in MoCo, and I?m glad that I finally got to check it out! The pizza was really tasty good quality ingredients, a hefty slice, and good value! I can see why it was voted as best pizza. The crust was thick and had a great bite to it, the cheese was stretchy, and the ratio of everything was great. The mozzarella sticks were also very delicious. Ryan liked the Pizza better than our usual staple. Our server was nice enough but in some sort of hurry to get away from us. This resulted in errors in our order. Mozzarella sticks were over cooked. Wings were solid Sysco. But the anchovies in my salad came out as artichokes. And I got charged extra for the mistake. Pushed my salad away. We were going to get an extra pizza to go. But since she didn't wanna come back Probably won't return.

Wow... Armand's Pizza is truly a beacon of hope for humanity. My friends and I have been enjoying their pizza for 40 years, starting in the mid-1980s at the original location in Tenleytown, NW DC. Unfortunately, all other locations in Capitol Hill, Silver Spring, Arlington, and even the second Tenleytown location have closed down over the years. I believe Montgomery County should designate this remaining location as a landmark.
Many years ago Armands was great. I ordered pizza from there recently and it was horrible. The worse attempt at deep dish pizza I've had...also ordered cheese sticks that looked like breadsticks and tasted like someone forgot to put the cheese on them. A few weeks back I went to Uno's and had deep dish pizza. That's the real deal. Won't be coming back to Armands and highly disappointed
The pizza at this restaurant is delicious, but there was a Spanish employee working during the night shift who was continuously using foul language. Despite his inappropriate behavior, customers were still placing their orders. This experience was completely unprofessional and occurred on a Saturday night. The restaurant definitely needs to hire better employees.
I have visited this restaurant on several occasions and while the food is of good quality, it is not professional to give a customer attitude or roll your eyes when you make a mistake with their order and they request the correct item.

I'm sorry to say that the lunch buffet is no longer available. However, the pizza at this restaurant is fantastic. The cheese is delicious and the sauce is full of flavor.
Worthy of a try. I lived in the region about 20 years ago and remember Armands foundry. Back then it was the best tasting pizza around. It's still good.
