I was very excited to take my family to this local cafe for the first time last weekend. I ordered the cauliflower zucchini fritters that come with a poached egg. When ordering, I asked for the egg yolk to not be runny and was...told that would be an extra charge as the chef wants the food to look a certain way but the waitress said she would see what she can do. My family 's meals came out in a reasonable time, but I was left waiting. Once my family had finished eating, my meal came out. I realised why I had waited and extra 20 minutes. Most def' my happy place!! Discovered this place a few years ago, have visited several times since. The food is great, the location is AMAZING... so peaceful, on the water, on a sunny day, so idyllic! The staff are friendly, service fantastic! Have also introduced family friends to the delights of the AWC :D Soooo, highly recommended? Big/all day brekky, Egg bene' with smoked salmon... or pretty much *ANYTHING* you have will be great, I'm sure ;
Beautiful location. My husband and had the share platter and the mushroom gnocchi in a cream sauce. The share platter was lovely and the gnocchi would have to be the best we have tasted. The cream sauce was not overbearing. My daughter who is a bit of a plain eater just wanted the burger with cheese, lettuce and nothing else. The waitress said they don't have lettuce which was a bit disappointing. The food arrived promptly. Very nice place.
What a great find : awesome menu, generous servings with tasty quality food. Service was so good, waitress moved us to first available sunny position even though it was such a busy Sunday afternoon. A short walk for a bike ride or one of the most amazing kids park! We will be back thank you

On a beautiful Friday morning arrived at the Armory for a coffee and cake.Ended up with Tea and Scones and Tea and Lemon Meringue Pie. It was busy and the service was a bit slow. A staff member had just called in sick we found out.Tea and eats were really nice. Good location and good food.
We love coming here because Naomi always takes such good care of us! Exceptional service and professionalism. Have never had a bad meal or coffee. Would highly recommend this place to family and friends!
