I was coming off a long road trip. I was very hungry and wanted some good home cooking. For a supposed home cooking place like this, it seems like they could do better on their sides. The main meal comes with two sides and there are only four options mashed potatoes and gravy, coleslaw,baked apples, and I forgot one other. A side salad that you see in the photo cost me two dollars extra and it was the smallest side salad I never seen. I ordered liver and onions, which in itself was very good except the liver was literally a little over a quarter of an inch thick. That made it a little bit chewy and dry. The gravy mashed potatoes was great. Later I saw on like a chalkboard specials of the day...

However, it's worth noting that they only accept cash for payment, as they do not take credit or debit cards. Overall, I would rate the food, service, and atmosphere all a perfect 5 out of 5!
I absolutely love this restaurant! They serve delicious food at great prices, and the staff is always friendly and efficient. My wife, Sheri, and I visit all the time. They have the best breakfast!
If you are not local don’t bother. Most unwelcoming hostess, rude and stared at as we walked in. Didn’t actually get to eat go to the Burger King in this one horse town. Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
