Food wasnt cooked properly all cold meat was tough staff werent much better either when we complained there attitude was we will make you something else but we will have to charge you i wouldnt mind but he was only going to settle for a kids pizza as he was so hungry and fed up with the meal her attitude was we have had no complaints all day well you try cutting into it then she then reheated up one of the roasts again but you guessed the meat was then extra tough the only time they were customer friendly was when we asked them if they would take a photo for us which you have guessed by now they may have to charge us lol well we did get a smile out of them when we came to pay the bill which...

The food was really disappointing for the price. The burgers were very small, my child had a larger portion of food for her kids meal. The meat for the roast was so tough it couldn’t be cut through by some of the party and one of the party chocked on it. The attitude of the servers was pretty bad as well they wouldn’t accept the complaints being made despite a large party of people all telling them the same thing and the tone they were speaking to us in wasn’t very professional. The restaurant itself was beautiful and had a great view of the beach and water. Unfortunately it’s not at all disabled friendly. There is a ramp to access the platform the seating area is on and there is a disabled...

We visited for Sunday lunch and initially thought the prices were reasonable. However, we soon realized we had to pay extra for items like stuffing and cauliflower cheese. I ordered the beef, but it was so tough that I could barely cut it. They informed me that the entire beef was fatty and suggested an alternative meat. I chose ham, but it was unappetizing and not what I wanted. The vegetables could have used a bit more cooking time, especially for the kids. Additionally, my teacup had a black chip at the bottom and was marked. If I were in a café paying café prices, I wouldn't have minded, but given the high-end prices here, I expected high-quality food and service. On a positive note, the...

We went for Sunday lunch. Food was very average for the price and the service was shockingly bad.. Two of the party ordered prawn cocktail with avacado and both contained one tiny piece of avacado (if you haven't got any avacado just say that). We sent a glass back that was dirty and they brought the same glass back saying it was blackcurrant and they couldn't clean it! (almost comical glasses must be on short supply at Armstrongs). After the initial drinks order no one returned to our table to ask if we wanted more drinks and we had to ask for cutlery after having starters. I would not recommend to anyone. I had a terrible experience during my Sunday lunch. The food was served cold, and the roast potatoes were burnt. I ordered lamb but received beef instead. Despite the waitress insisting it was lamb, even the manager couldn't determine whether it was actually lamb or beef. Unfortunately, we won't be returning; it felt like a waste of £91.00. Absolutely delicious food, attentive staff, and a pleasant atmosphere make this restaurant an excellent choice for a family meal. We dined in for dinner, and the price ranged from £20 to £30 per person. I would rate the food a solid 5, along with the service and atmosphere, which also received top marks. Highly recommended!

Had Sunday lunch with some relatives. Ambience and service were fine, but, unfortunately, the roast dinner was not particularly hot, and the meat was totally overcooked.
