Armures Hôtel-Restaurant

We went to Les Armures, a famous Swiss restaurant in Geneva old town to try Swiss cuisine. The cheese fondue was toosalty and the accompanying bread stale and dry. I thought the cost was 30 Swiss Francs per order, but turns out it was per person!!! So that was 180 Swiss francs for a dish we couldn't eat. Not worth it at all.

We really enjoyed our raclette and fondue we also appreciated the servers suggestions and pleasant attitude with our indecision on what we should order. The atmosphere dining outside was lovely, inside looked equally appealing but since it was so nice of an evening we decided to dine outside. Enjoyed every minute.

On our walk in the Old City we stopped at this restaurant for lunch as it looked good/interesting. We had DELICIOUS fondue. And, on the way to the bathroom, we saw pictures of famous people who had also eaten here, including B&H Clinton. Whether you like them or not, it's a great place to eat, inside or out.

Allez y ! La fondue au fromage est excellente. Le restaurant est situé dans un cadre typique de la vieille ville de Geneve, tout en bois et en pierre. Le service est excellent et la situation est Magnifique

Ottima esperienza, buon cibo, buon vino, ambiente raffinato ma caldo e old style, da provare assolutamente i loro dolci.
