Went on 2nd December for our Xmas weekend girlie trip. Booked this for the evening as a good Xmas oompah night out. What a disappointment. No oompah band which was advertised just one man dressed up trying to get people swaying etc. then when we thought the oompah night would start we were then presented with 2 young men playing modern upto date songs and the atmosphere just went and so did half the audience. Having travelled from the midlands for our weekend treat we soon oompahed out of there too. We chose this venue because it offered a ‘Christmas Bavarian Bierhaus’ full of stein-swinging and bench-dancing !! We left early along with several other tables as the entertainment, two men in scruffy jeans (nothing Bavarian there! could not get their equipment to work and when they finally did it was neither Christmassy, Bavarian or intune! When we complained to the manager on the night he agreed it was nothing like what we were expecting and when we asked for a refund he asked us to contact the venue via email which we did only to be told no refunds!! Needs a real face lift very worn out and generally a little bit grubby. Absolutely empty a few days before Christmas too… I wonder why? Staff don’t want to serve as they are busy talking to each other very (and I mean VERY drunk) teenagers bouncing round being a nuisance whilst the security just stand and smoke at the front doors. Used to be a really lively and fun venue. I suspect they are winding this down to close as zero effort is put into it. Such a shame.
DO NOT GO HERE. I went with friends to celebrate my girlfriends birthday. I did a little ballroom dancing move with her and the bouncers decided for some reason that was an issue, and proceeded to batter me, rip my necklaces off and drag me out of there. My friends and I were left completely stunned at what had happened. They clearly just wanted somebody to pick on. So avoid this place like the plague.

This was the sixth time I had attended an event at thew Bierkeller Liverpool and again it did not disappoint .The service was first class from the team in Shooters bar and the atmosphere was amazing .We felt safe also. Everyone was so friendly and the food was excellent, Could not fault the whole experience .A great job by all the staff in making a memorable occasion for the family.
Went to watch the League cup final. Paid for a seat which included food and drinks. Enjoyable experience food was ok, not fine dining. Did not get the waitresses name but she was fantastic. Did not need to go the bar once. Would definitely book again for an event
We had a stag do at Bierkeller with a table booked. Sarah our waitress was incredible! Gave us amazing service was quick with everything had a laugh and even suggested a drink for the stag. Really made the experience and would definitely go again
Stag do. Polly was a great help. Any questions we had she sorted it straight away. We asked for an extra food and drinks and it was sorted straight away without any issue. Couldn’t have asked for a better host. I thanks again.

Pub was very empty and service was still slow. Beer was (as expected) very expensive and there wasn’t the range I’d have expected. Chicken wings were tasty and good value but were almost cold when they arrived at our table
A great spot for a solid bout of drinking. The inside is huge with plenty of different bars to order from. And it has a beer garden as well. Drinks could be cheaper but the central location slightly forgives that.
