Arturo's Puffy Taco has been a favorite of mine since childhood, dating back to their original location on Imperial Blvd in La Habra over 40 years ago. Though we now live in Riverside, we still make the trip about once a month just to enjoy their unique Puffy Tacos. Their menu is unlike any other, overflowing with delicious fillings that you won’t find anywhere else. With only two locations in existence, you have to visit Arturo's Puffy Taco unless you’re willing to travel all the way to Texas. Hopefully, one day we’ll get to experience their location with the Cantina!
This place is a childhood favorite from back when they were located in La Habra on Imperial Blvd over 40yrs ago. We now live out in Riverside but still make the drive about every month or so for the 1 of a kind Puffy Tacos. There?s nothing like them with all their overfilled goodness. Only 2 locations exist, so you got to try this one unless you want to travel to Texas. Hopefully we?ll make it out there someday to try their location with the Cantina!!
Gotta try the Puffy Tacos! They come out hot in temperature and fresh as can be. I recommend getting the Strips Texanas (chips with blended guac, cheese and salsa) to accompany the meal. Plus you can use the strips to pick up the droppings from these messy tacos. Make sure to bring cash! This is a CASH ONLY establishment. I recommend a minimum of $10 per person. I drove an hour to try this Southern California treat, well worth the LA traffic.
Arturo's Puffy Taco offers Tex-Mex at its finest, and it tastes absolutely amazing. I highly recommend ordering the two puffy taco combo—Go with the Guizada and Picadillo as they suggest, you won’t regret it. Don’t forget to pair it with their homemade lemonade; you'll thank me afterward. Plus, how often do you get to say "puffy" when ordering from a menu? Check them out and follow on IG: kay_okay_eat.

The staff is consistently friendly and welcoming, always greeting guests with smiles. I usually order the puffy tacos, as they bring back memories of my childhood when we would make taco shells for taco night at home. It's genuinely the best way to enjoy tacos!

The tacos here are fantastic! I tried several, but the saucy beef taco stole the show. It's a bit of a trek for me, otherwise, I'd visit regularly. They cost around $3.50 each.
I had a wonderful experience! I tried the ground beef puffy taco, and it was absolutely delicious! I can't wait to sample more dishes from the menu!
