As soon as we popped our heads into this neighbourhood eatery, we knew it would be good. We were greeted warmly and offered the menu, which was a tiny hand written piece of paper with 6 dishes from their 2 course menu. Our Spanish isn’t great so the waiter actually asked one of the chefs to come out and clarify a few components. Usually we’d take our time and use an app with the menu to look up unfamiliar words, but the waiter was keen to take our order! Agreed the menu choices were a little different, we loved the lamb chick pea soup followed by braised pork cheek. The chocolate cake was gorgeous too. The food tastes as though it’s been made from scratch, full of flavour and generous portions. Pretty much everyone who came in were regular customers and were greeted warmly by the staff. That’s got to be good sign. Reasonably priced too. Only moan is that food came quickly we didn’t get to sit and savour the experience for longer.

My wife and I have been to this restaurant about 4 or 5 times in the last mouth for menu of the day. Each time we have been, we have been met with lovely, friendly staff and enjoyed the most delicious meals. We have not always understood the waitress, as our Spanish is not great, but we have always managed to order the most wonderful food. Each time we have been, we have never had the same meal. Many thanks and we will be back again soon. Our Daughter and her boy friend also loved the food and will be returning.

Ate at this restaurant twice during a 5 day visit to see my parents. The staff are friendly but be warned they don't speak any English. I certainly found that it tested my Spanish skills as they say what the menu of the day is! The food is tasty, well presented and slightly different to the usual menu del dia offerings elsewhere. It's usually packed with groups of Spanish business people or lecturers from the local college. We will certainly be back again when we are next in Valencia!

We went to this restaurant last year and it was brilliant, so headed straight for it on our return some 11 months later what a disappointment! The staff are still friendly, but the food was dreadful. Starters and main courses were only just warm. Pathetic offering for a main course was just a piece of chicken on the plate nothing else! Can't believe how much this lovely restaurant has changed. We certainly won't be coming back!
