Asador De Pollos Pechiguera

This is the best spit roasted chicken that I’ve ever tasted. That’s why I’ve starting picking one up every week. They are all spit roasted, with delicious herbs and optional gravy. They are so good, they occasionally run out early. The owner friendly and whilst the full range of other items is not currently available, it’s worth going to collect a fabulous spot roasted chicken.

The chicken is delicious. What´s more to say? It´s all very fresh, there are tatties and salads too and the owner is very friendly, pleasant and patient. Really yummy and great value....just takeaway under present circumstances and limited in selection, but this will no doubt change as things open up again. Highly recommended.

Really good chicken and chips. The chips were freshly cut and made and perfectly cooked. The chicken had fresh herbs and was delicious (if slightly salty but reducing the rating would be pedantic). A really good evening takeaway with some fresh bread from a local bakery. Yum!

This is a highlight every trip! Best chicken we have ever tasted and the homemade chips are amazing. We were so sad he was closed last year with COVID but he’s back. No salads etc yet but great to see him open again doing what he does best.

Best spit roast chicken that I’ve ever tasted. As a resident I used this almost weekly and it’s superb. A whole spit roasted chicken, with gravy if you want, herbed and succulent all for €7.
