We believe this restaurant has had a change of ownership as this is the only rational explanation for the standard of food and service diving over a cliff since our friends last visited. Service wasn 't unfriendly just incomprehensibly slow given the empty dining room. Lamb dishes were enjoyed, but 4 of the 5 'fillet ' of beef we ordered were simply inedible. What wasn 't indigestible gristle was cloying fat. I was told that this is what fillet is in Spain and I 'm normally willing to forgive and even appreciate cultural variation but whatever cut of beef this was, it wasn 't fit for human consumption. Avoid at all costs. Just to add insult to injury, the second bottle of red wine we ordered...
We were in Sierra Nevada for New Year's Eve nod foolishly hadn't booked anywhere,so we happy we hadn't as after much searching we found this total gem. They were booked out but the owner insisted on us coming in and created a table in a corner for the three of us, That was just the beginning of one of the best meals I've ever had and probably the best all round service ever, they were amazingly busy yet you would never known it from the service, one after another we were served with their special New Year's Eve set- meal which was amazing and a desert that I suspect can never be beaten, their chef is a find. Thank you to every member of staff you made it a special new year and we will return...
Visitamos Sierra Nevada para la víspera de Año Nuevo 2017, reservamos una mesa para las 21:30, llegamos a tiempo, el lugar estaba vacío, solo una mesa de 12 personas en el lugar y nosotros, sin embargo, el camarero tardó 20 minutos en venir a nuestra mesa para pedir nuestras bebidas, trabajaban 2 camareros pero evitaban cualquier contacto visual, el menú era pobre y los entrantes en el menú no estaban disponibles, pedimos un corte de entrecôte de carne con un precio de 18 euros, sin embargo, el camarero nos sirvió otro corte de carne con un precio de 40 euros, dijo que se había equivocado, devolvimos la comida y esperamos el corte correcto, ¡pero sorpresa sorpresa, han incluido los 40 euros...

Every table and chair was occupied and I'm not surprised. We had an amazing evening. The wine menu is one of the best I have ever seen. Three of us had steak and one had slow cooked cod. The steaks were absolutely perfectly done and were delicious. The cod was also delicious. The place was alive with a great atmosphere. This restaurant is a must visit.
Simplemente salimos a dar un paseo para estirar las piernas después de conducir durante 4 horas. Un Ginebra y Tónica encantador y un vino fantástico. Solo un par de entrantes para comer y realmente disfrutamos de ellos, el atún rojo era increíble. ¡También una gran selección de vinos!
We called in here on spec and found it was booked out but they found a spot for us anyway. The food was excellent as is their wine list. Although best known for its meat I had an excellent salmon steak so there is something here for non meat eaters too! Reserva una mesa ahora
