Our hotel got us the reservation during the San Fermin festivities. That makes feel special and welcome. To make short, the food was pretty good. The tomatoes and ventresca were amazing (tomatoes were on season), the Piparras were tasty and very well cooked, the salad was also well seasoned and the ingredients super fresh. The Chuletón was superbly cooked and seasoned with the right amount of sea salt. The service? Well… border line bad.. the only smile was when we checked in and were shown to our table. After that long faces and worse “are you ready yet” “what is it”..?? No one introduced themselves as our server, no one made us feel welcomed. No one informed us about how much Chuletón to order… it was literally like we were bothering them and an inconvenience to them… most of the time took minutes to find someone that would even look into our direction to see if we’re alive… the worse part was that the chefs were there seating at a table close to us by a hallway…. So they should have seen what kind of experience they are offering. Good food but dining is an experience, and this one was well bellow memorable. Really sad to see that Michelin and Sol awarded restaurant had this mediocre experience.
