I've been meaning to try this place but everytime I get the chance, they're either closed or about to close. Thankfully, we had enough time to spare and decided to finally try this restaurant. I'm not sure if this is still a Karaoke bar since I didn't see any part that makes it one. But today, when we went, I was underwhelmed at the limited menu at first. Eitherway, they had the soondubu jigae I usually order at different Korean restaurants so that was nice. It was not on the menu but Kimberly mentioned that it was also available. The food was delicious and the service was fantastic. My oldest wanted Korean for his birthday and we went on a friend's recommendation. The menu is limited because it's basically a two person operation right now. Don't let that deter you. My husband had the grilled pork belly, I had the beef bulgogi, my oldest had the chicken bulgogi and my youngest had kimchi jjigae (extra spicy). it was all soooo good. As were the side dishes. there is not much to add to what other people have said, but we really had an amazing time in asahi from the moment we came in. kimberly was really such a Jewel. she expected our needs, such as extra kimchi, and made sure we were well looked after. the food was so good and delivered the home boiled experience for my Korean American husband that he does not want as often as he likes. we look forward to the return!

absolute. amazing. best customer service I had probably ever. eating was delicious, in large quantities and satisfying. the location was very clean and warming. if they are deflected from the outside, not be. go in. much fun. thank you later. only partial it is a little small and the menu is slightly limited. the best for groups of 4 or less and people who want Korean-American food without the fuff. kimberly was amazing! for a friend and I'm eating both. we have starters, main course and desert for a total of under 40. eating was amazing. my friend is indecision when they like Korean eating. they said, however, they would come back fortunately! kimberly made us feel like a family. her warm real, friendly energy wore us up. I'm gonna make the deffent to comfort the food.

If Asahi had only one item on the menu and it was liver and onions (I hate liver and onions) I would still go and eat there. Ms. Kimberly and her mom are outright the best restaurateurs around. They ask about allergies and will answer any questions about Korean food you might have. They know how to make a customer feel like part of the family!

If you're in search of amazing food and outstanding service, you have to check out this place. My partner was craving Korean BBQ, but we decided to try something different and we were not disappointed.
