The food was exceptional, earning a solid five stars for its quality and flavor. The service also impressed me, with attentive staff who made sure our dining experience was enjoyable—four stars for that. However, the atmosphere could use a bit of improvement; it felt somewhat average, which is why I rated it three stars. Overall, I would recommend this place for a satisfying lunch!

Overall, our experience was quite positive. However, despite making a reservation two weeks in advance over the phone, we arrived to find that they couldn't locate our booking. We ended up waiting about 10 minutes until a table was prepared for us. The staff did their best to assist us, but there were noticeable delays between the starters, main courses, and desserts. Fortunately, the four of us had plenty to discuss, so the waiting wasn't too bothersome. Aside from that, the quality, presentation, and taste of the food and drinks were fantastic and delicious!

Exquisite food served in a laid-back and welcoming environment. This place is something of a hidden treasure in Market Harborough, renowned in the area for delivering exceptional quality meals at great prices. We had a group of five dining from the Christmas menu, and every dish was nothing short of perfect. During lunch, they only have one seating, which allows for a leisurely but attentive service; we lingered for over two hours savoring three courses. Absolutely delightful. I recommend making a reservation, though.

Cannot fault the food or service, lack of photos due to just enjoying our meal. The cod was amazing as for dessert, the garnish of liquorice sorbet was out of this world. I don't like liquorice or sorbet, but this was amazing. The extra birthday treat from Ascoughs was delicious. Will certainly be back! The food here is all well paired and rich in flavour. The drinks menu is comprehensive and the cocktails well prepared. In combination with an excellent service this makes for an exquisite night.
