Initially recommended to me by a colleague, now I eat here every fortnight when I work in the area.It has unassuming facade but hearty, large serve malaysian dishes are served here. I love the mee goreng, fried kway teow, nasi goreng and sambal dishes. Sometimes they have Hainan chicken rice or Nasi Lemak.The prices are really reasonable and it's conveniently located next to the station.It's a humble store with great hawker style food. Highly recommended for a quick lunch.
You wouldn't think from the place's name that they actually serve great tasting Malaysian food at very affordable prices! Two older gentlemen run the place which has a very homey, no frills atmosphere. Everything looks and tastes like its cooked from scratch so its like having home-cooked Malaysian food Definitely a place worth visiting and having a feed when you're in the Ashfield area.
Stopped hete for lunch as a local told me it was good. I wasn't disappointed. Quick service tasty food very reasonable prices. Very SE Asian style place. Small tables with all the condiments. I'll come here again.

Always come here for the nasi goreng which is really flavoursome and filling. The service was great and they brought the meals to our table. Very cheap prices for what you get!
