I took the family to Kinto this past weekend. We've not been to all of the sushi places around, but it is the best sushi and Chinese/Japanese food that we have had in the Kaiserslautern/close-by area. The place is clean with a neat look. Call for reservations, especially if you want to sit at the "sushi-go-round." The bathrooms are very clean and upstairs. Waiter service was attentive, inquiring, and nice. They all spoke fine English to my wife (my daughters and I spoke German mainly). What I took to be the owners also came over and check on us--and they visited other tables as well, despite the place being about 80% full and a moderate turnover rate at the conveyor.The conveyor belt sushi ....

We are American. We are use to buffets. With that being said, this place was great. With us being from MS but living in Germany, sushi was awesome compared to Europe. The food was soooooo fresh and amazing. Ive heard about people saying its unhealthy but the plates on the sushi line are covered. Its simple sushi but I loved it! I am very picky! I would go there again and again and again. Its good for the money. The staff is very helpful and nice! Im so glad I didnt listen to the bad reviews and tried it on my own. Please try here.... Get there at 6 and IF you want A sushi bar seating make reservations because its the only way you will get a seat there. We didnt but I think it was for the bes...

Well, First I'd like to say. I know my sushi. This place was terrible. The sushi was supermarket grade or worst. I'm 99% sure they use MSG because It was very filling after eating a small amount.I didn't actually realise it was all you can eat until we sat down. ( I wouldn't if eaten there if I'd had know) The sushi rolls were double wrapped in rice to fill you up more, the staff disappeared at one point to have dinner (people need to eat) but left no one serving???€17.50 per person Unbelievable.Avoid this place like the plague... it will only disappoint Trust me.
First, I want to say it. I know my sushi. This place was terrible. The sushi was a supermarket or the worst. I am 99% sure they use MSG because it was very filling after eating a small amount. I didn't know it was all you could eat until we sat down. I wouldn't eat there if I knew. The sushi reels were wrapped twice in rice to fill you more, the staff disappeared at one point to have dinner people eat) but did no one serve?????? 17,50 € per person unbelievable. Avoid this place like the plague... it will only disappoint Trust me.
I am Asian and I have been dying for authentic chinese food and sushi. We've looked all over the RP area only to be disappointed. I was surprised when I discovered Kinto. They offered sushi plus chinese buffet. The food was similar to the food I grew up with at home. We went on Saturday and it was full and busy. The staff provided great service and constantly kept the buffet fresh and full. The manager also offered us a frequent diner card. I believe dinner buffet was 15,80 euro. I will definitely be going back!
Prices are okay and so is the service... it is convenient and the new iPad system is pretty cool. The quality of sushi is also good and the concept of everything you can eat is acceptable.

Sushi is average. Not great. Rice was not seasoned well and found a stray hair in one of the bowls. Also avocado was not ripe.
