We arrived as a group of 7 in our family for a late lunch at 2pm. The notice outside said they closed at 2.30pm. I asked if they were still open and they said yes. I felt rushed at lunch because when I asked for...three more minutes to review the menu, the wait staff said the kitchen would be closed soon. Mind you there were no other tables at the time either. He kept tapping his fingers as the orders kept coming in... We couldn't decide any quicker for him. Food was average I thought. One of us ordered barbequed pork or char siew in a noodle soup dish. If you're easily bothered by noise, you may want to skip this small restaurant. When we visited on a Friday night, it was exceptionally loud. The employees should consider lifting seats instead of dragging them across the hard floor to reduce the noise level. Our friends highly recommended this place, but unfortunately, our experience didn't live up to their praise. The pad thai we ordered lacked flavor, while one of the house specialties was not as delicious as we had hoped based on the menu description. The service was decent, but the highlight was seeing other dishes that looked tasty, like the laksa, at nearby tables. We may need to give this restaurant another try to see if those dishes...
There's nothing fancy about this place. Most of their food goes out as take-away although the tables were also pretty busy the evening we ate. What it lacks in style (it feels as if you're in the food hall in the shopping mall) it makes...up for in the quality of the food...which explains the obvious popularity of all the locals coming in to pick up dinner. Limited drinks but a large and varied menu of noodle options from all over Asia. Excellent choice for a good value, delicious meal with no pretensions.
Avoid going to this restaurant on Saturday night. The food was delicious as always, but every time someone entered, the door made a loud, unbearable noise and let in a cold draft. There were also about 10 people standing around, waiting for a table. After waiting for about 60 minutes, we had had enough. I mentioned the issue when paying and stated that I would not return until it was resolved. My suggestion is to get delivery or dine elsewhere.

We had a great dinner starting with rice paper rolls that were fresh and delicious. I ordered the chicken dish, which was moist and tasty, and the soup had a nice ginger flavor. My wife enjoyed her laksa. We both felt the prices were fair and agreed that we would definitely come back.
we have eaten all the time in the asian noodle house and eating was always fantastic, as well as the service. the last few paintings we ate here were the noodles really bland without taste. the service is also downhill. I guess it's changed hands.
I can always trust this restaurant to serve up fresh and filling laksa, stir-fry and fried rice my family love. the staff are affable and food is ready in good time. Glad they are in Tuggers!
We are regulars and find this restaurant to reasonably priced, quick service and tasty dishes, it didn’t disappoint on our last dinner there.

One of my favourite restaurants in the area. It never disappoints and the food is good value and tasty. I particularly recommend the laksa.
Rhe laksa is one of the best in Canberra. The pho is also very nice too. Srrvicevis great too. Will be back for sure.
