Asian Pear was a quick, casual eatery with a smaller menu. We had a shrimp egg roll, a chicken pot sticker apiece, the sweet and sour chicken bowl, and the Korean beef bowl. Kimchi, teriyaki sauce, and cucumber salad ramekins on the side. They have fountain drinks and cans of drinks, as well as an assortment of other drinks. I had mentioned to my husband I wanted to try the Korean vegetable pancake next time since he wasn 't interested. The server surprised us with samples along with our meals. The shrimp egg roll was very small and what I would consider a spring roll. The pot stickers were fine; nothing to write home about. The bowls were good, but I added the teriyaki sauce, leftover pot s...

This is a tasty little storefront that does a rocking' business of churning out quick, delicious, mainly Korean food that is very true to what can be found Seoul, but made for an American market.A large menu is printed on the wall next to the counter cashier and has a small but tasty selection for Korean food. They have a take out service, and small counter, and a few tables that stay filled. As soon as you are done, they swiftly swoop in, clean it, and it's ready again. The tables are full and we'll turned over because the food is that good! Our Korean vegetable pancake was full of flavor, crispy and even the next day, microwaved were just as tasty! My table mates polished off their combo pl...

I was excited to try this place as I love Korean food, but was very disappointed. I’m not sure why the ratings are so high. Clearly nobody here has ever had half-decent Korean food; this is a true disservice to the cuisine. Firstly, for a Korean place, their kimchi was terrible. Tasted like raw cabbage in water. I got the Spicy Pork Special but the meat was bland and dry with no spice. The tamagoyaki felt like eating a sponge. The noodles were ok, they had a decent flavor. We also got the BBQ chicken rice bowl and the chicken ramen. The chicken bowl was again, bland and dry. The ramen was bland (honestly instant ramen tastes better). Looks like the good ol’ microwave cooked our meals!I also...

The shrimp egg roll was quite small and more akin to a spring roll. The pot stickers were decent, but nothing particularly memorable. The bowls were good; I added some teriyaki sauce, leftover pot sticker sauce, and cucumber salad to enhance the flavors and make my bowl a bit saucier. The sweet and sour chicken sauce wasn't as sweet as I'm used to, but I actually enjoyed it. The vegetable pancake was outstanding! It’s the dish that will definitely bring me back. It was my favorite item on the menu, and my husband loved it too. It didn’t even require any sauce, which is unusual for me. Overall, Asian Pear is a quick and casual spot with slightly above-average food, highlighted by one except... Reserva una mesa ahora

Updated review: I’m adding more detail on the review of what I liked; I sometimes order lunch for our team from here. I always thought the foods were good. And today, I saw Korean ladies making food that tastes beyond good! I will highly recommend Korean Pancake (Jeon). It’s better than the one I had in Korea. Better than other Korean restaurants that I’ve visited so far in NM!??????

Fresh and tasty Korean options. The veggie pancake was delicious, Gimbap was spot on, and the dosirak with Korean beef and all the trimmings was neatly packaged and tasty. We are big city folk but can't find any fast and delicious Korean options in Chicago like this spot in Albuquerque. Portions are also generous and service is friendly. Definitely check them out!

Today was our first time trying it out and we were not disappointed at all. The food was delicious! The service was extremely fast. The food came out very fast, and nice and hot. The three dishes that we ordered, were really good. So much so that ordered food to-go so we could bring some for my wife who wasn’t able to come. We’ll definitely be coming back!

We ordered the sweet and sour chicken bowl and the spicy pork, and the portions were quite generous. The owners are friendly, and the service was excellent. They offer a range of soups, and the egg rolls are delicious. I highly recommend trying the Kimchi Pancake; you won't be disappointed. Overall, I give the food a 5/5. Reserva una mesa ahora

Stopped in for a quick bite while running errands and found a new favorite spot. Good prices, amazing staff, feels close knit and small and the food is out of this world. The perfect stop in my day I will absolutely be coming back!! :)Food: 5/5
