Assaggio Ristorante

Assaggio has been one of my favourites to dine in at for special occasions. My partner and I have been celebrating there for anniversaries or birthdays for the last 3 years. The last time we had gone was on Valentine's Day this year. We came back to assaggio last night for my birthday with family, and the interior of the resturant, and the menu and meals has changed dramatically. I dined here for business last night with a colleague and two customers. For many years I had heard great reviews of this restaurant but never considered it. You can clearly see that the service of this restaurant is set at a very high benchmark. From their communication on the phone for the booking right through to the service on the night, the attentiveness is excellent. Their wine list is extensive and will please the most concerning wine consumer. The food was faultless. For entree I had the arancini balls - delicious. My partner and I decided to end the year with a nice meal, and this was one of the places that we had on our list to try. It was a set menu, but they told us that they could work around my allergies. Unfortunately, this meant going vegetarian for the night, but with the options that they suggested, I was more than happy to. The food was amazing and we were treated to a few unexpected little extras. The service was impeccably attentive. The highlight for me was he alternative entree they suggested, which was the pea risotto. I went to Assaggio ristorante to celebrate my birthday with my family and it was an evening to remember. The food was outstanding, service impeccable and cocktails on point ! They're new menu and new interior really brings Assaggio alive and creates the perfect atmosphere for any Occassion. Will definitely be returning !

Went with my husband on a week night. Food was delicious, the sorbet between entre & main was a nice touch. Service was great. The ambience is ok, can't quite put my finger on how it could be improved, maybe different choice of music? Not sure. But overall great night for us!

Great food . I have been here thrice . One of the best in adelaide .menu has changed a bit to give a modern twist and the detailing is much finer than before . Level of service was much better before . Ambience and the decor of the place gives a new feel

Assaggio in my opinion is one of the best restaurants in SA, every single time they've been able to deliver quality service and superb dishes from entree to dessert, I haven't find better restaurant yet. Great place for special occasions Reserva una mesa ahora

Not impressed. The food was average and after a disappointing entree and main we finally worked out to ask the waitress what we were actually ordering as the menu is quite deceiving

Best restaurant experience I've ever Had. The owner is Kind and welcomes you as you enter. Great starters, mains and desserts. It deserves 5 stars.
