This charming cheese shop on Ditmars in Astoria offers an impressive selection of both soft and hard cheeses. Each cheese is labeled with its origin, price, and insightful tasting notes. They also have a variety of craft beers available in cans, bottles, and on draft. Additionally, you can find a range of sauces and accompaniments perfect for enhancing any charcuterie board. The real highlight, however, is their sandwich menu — the Kurt Brussels is a must-try! If you arrive early, you can enjoy the super chill outdoor seating in the backyard, or opt for one of the tables located in front of the store.
We had a fantastic time enjoying a great variety of cheeses and meats that were perfectly paired. My wife, who is gluten-free, loved the cedar and the gluten-free crackers. I particularly appreciated the excellent beer selection that complemented the cheeses nicely. I was also pleased to see they now offer wine options. The beer selection and all the verbiage with origins and flavor notes on endless rows alternated with fun snacks and add-ons. Ordered a beer flight with the pretzel which made for a satisfying combo. Left the selection up to our server and the flight arrived with artisanal selection of two berry flavored lambics and a Pilsner which worked awesome with our snack.
Amazing incredible showstopper it’s been several days and I’m STILL thinking about the All Choked Up sammy. The staff were super friendly knowledgeable about their drafts, the canned selection was impressive, and the sandwiches. Oh man, the sandwiches. Get two and split them, even if you’re going solo. I regret not having a third, I would’ve made room.

The sandwiches are exceptional, and there's a fantastic selection of beer, cider, and wine. The staff is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable! They also offer a great variety of canned and bottled beers, as well as cheese, cured meats, bread, crackers, and condiments, perfect for assembling a charcuterie board at home.
The restaurant offers an excellent variety of beer and cider wines. The sandwiches are a must-try, as there is something for everyone. They also have an impressive selection of cheeses from around the globe, which you can take home. I highly recommend their aged Gouda.
I only went for cheese and ham shopping, and the staff treated me very well.They do have good selections with some special options. Just go and ask them!Also, they have lots of draft beer for stay and taste. Would like to go for grilled cheese next time!
Beautiful backyard terrace, incredible selection of beers and lemons on designs and cans and bottles. The service system is effective and easy. The dishes are also great. I could spend the whole afternoon here and plan!

Been going here for years. Rick and the team do a fantastic job. Whether we stay in for some bier and munchies or take home provisions, it’s always delicious.
The beer selection is impressive, and the food is fantastic! Be sure to try the grilled cheese and the pretzel; the pimento cheese was particularly delicious.
