At East Sussex National Resort

The food was very good, and the staff were pleasant. Unfortunately during these times they were very short staffed. The views are lovely but the acoustics in the restaurant are poor. Although a chilly May evening the AC was throwing out cold air and, like ourselves, many diners asked to move tables, which was very frustrating for the staff who were already under pressure with service.

ilse was a fantastic host. She made sure we were fine and that eating was good. I came with my wife and we had a nice meal at a reasonable price. could feel with a little more restaurant.

Welcoming at reception and the initial waitress. The serving waitress was OK, said all the right things, It felt a little souless but was clean and well presented. High tea was great.

Absolutely lovely staff, very helpful and happy. The food was beautiful and my wife and 2 kids thoroughly enjoyed what was a very nice mother's day.
