only back from a 4 overnight stay with them. highly recommended. beautiful small hotel with very friendly staff and delicious food. extensive choice to breakfast and all cooked and beautifully presented. good location for surrounding cities and the train to st ives by redruth is perfect and only £6pp back. the rooms were beautiful and thanks to the hotel for free upgrade of a Junior Garden Suite! a beautiful surprise! I was here several times and it was always a pleasant experience. the evening menu is wonderful and you get a real feeling of luxury especially with the restaurant silver service. I have always found the penventon to go somewhere to this special occasion. yesterday I tried the new lunch menu for the first time along with my family and as always eating was not disappointed, and the new 2course menu was affordable and so a good value for money. will definitely come back to lunch.

he had the honor to accompany david pascoe for his 80th birthday party. such a wonderful event. once again excellent eating and very happy enough to have free drinks for this occasion. always fab service and a warm welcome to penventon along with its sister hotels greenbank and alverton, where we are married. recommend these hotels.

what a breathtaking hotel just wow. the staff is beautiful, eating is fab, the restaurant is beautiful and the pianist is fantastic, the gin is beautiful and I just loved the spa! the rooms are beautiful and pure luxury, just a perfect break, would highly recommend.

8 of us went to take advantage of the special offer on Saturday evening.We had a fantastic three course meal and half price wine and beer, you just couldn't fault it.
