Recently moved to the area and have been checking out a few of the local pizza shops (my husband is picky about his pizza but it’s his favorite food and being so close to Athena’s and hearing they got new owners we decided to try it out-IT DID NOT DISAPPOINT! My husband loved it! The sauce isn’t too spicy or sweet-loaded with toppings and crust isn’t super thick or doughy! I got the Gyro salad which was fantastic! Fresh food and high quality ingredients!! Athena's is the best locally owned pizza shop. Juicy fried chicken, crispy and well baked pizzas. Wait till you try the salads! The homemade greek dressing is better than any you've tried before. Get a little bit of everything, you will not be disappointed! The new owner really has turned the place around. This place is right on the way to Blossom, so stop in and grab a some grub before the show.

First time having Athena’s tonight, absolute pizza connoisseur (So I’d like to think)….some of if not *the* most scrumptious pizza I’ve ever had! So much so, I had to call and let them know. Spoke with one of the owners, he was absolutely a doll, and so nice! Should also be noted I have never ever left a food review (nor called a place to compliment on the food)…this should speak volumes. Perfection!

Great pizza and the new owners are the best! Always friendly and orders are always right and on time. We order from there on a regular basis and everyone at Falls Motor City loves the place! Thank you for taking such good care of us all the time!
