Last year they allowed dogs, this year they don’t, never mind, you have to sit on the terrace. What is really important are the crepes. The waitress announced that they didn’t have any mushrooms, they were out of stock. It turned out they were also out of pesto, it got substituted by something else, and also out of orange confit, had to accept raspberry jam, and the cider jelly was so meagre, indeed suspiciously unidentifiable in the crepe that I suspect they were actually out of that too. Late night arrival by ferry meant we raced to find somewhere to eat, and very much hoped that one of the last open places would be decent. We weren’t disappointed, good food and a brilliantly helpful waiter. Despite having a dairy allergic 18yo they were able to provide a very substantial salad, and the rest of us very much enjoyed our crepes. Great atmosphere sitting in the corner of the square surround by historic buildings.
