Oh my gosh, I don't even know where to start! Before we even got to Second Happy Door, the host greeted us with menus, and they were very polite. Once we sat down, we were served refreshing water with ice and napkins—such attentive service! Our waiter came by shortly after to take our orders, and the coffee arrived quickly. We ordered the French Toast Deluxe, which came with eggs and cheese, as well as cheddar cheese and extra pancakes. Honestly, this was the best French toast I've ever had! It was perfectly warm and cooked just right in the middle. The flavor was outstanding; the cook truly nailed it. The presentation was also impressive!
Large menu, fresh ingredients, and amazing service! My party of five had a bit of a wait for a table on Sunday afternoon because it was quite busy—definitely a popular spot among locals. I thoroughly enjoyed my burger, and the salad was very fresh. The service exceeded all expectations. The extensive menu offers a variety of choices you'd expect from a diner, making it tough to pick just one dish! There are plenty of options to satisfy everyone, including vegan-friendly choices like the veggie wrap or platter.
This is a spacious local diner. The place was clean, and the staff members were very friendly. Pros: The food was delicious and served quickly. Cons: I found a bad piece of paprika in my salad that should have been removed, as it was inedible. Lunch for a family of four came to around $80. Overall, I would definitely visit again.
