This is one of the good coffee shops in the area. I come here so often every time I go to Royal Oak. I see a lot of people there always, it is crowded place. Good place for study, meetings, and setting. As I mentioned it is crowded, but it still good for study. Spacious place has many chairs and tables, they still good with following the social distance. I like to drink a sweet drinks, so I took honey vanilla latte. They do have really good kind of coffee and bunch of good drinks. Go visit the place, bring your family or friends. Specially in nice weather that open all windows of the store so it will nice and fresher.

This coffee shop is a wonderful local gem. The interior is quite stylish, and there’s often great music playing softly in the background. It’s the perfect place for studying, enjoying a coffee date, or catching up with a friend. If you’re looking for something special, make sure to try the Cardamom Rose Latte, the Mexican Mocha, or the Polar Bear; their house and dark blends are also outstanding. They used to provide complimentary refills on regular coffee drinks (at least they did before COVID). I highly recommend checking it out!
The prices here are somewhat elevated, and the food quality is merely average. Although the service tends to be a bit slow, it's friendly and attentive. I did appreciate that my pour-over coffee arrived quickly. The shop's design is beautiful, which fosters a great atmosphere for conversation or working. There's a nice blend of both younger and older customers, adding a trendy feel to the place. While it may not be my top choice, it can still be a decent option if you're okay with spending a little more on pastries and coffee.
A niche service that isn't easily found around Metro Detroit: all day (7am 10pm) all week versatile cafe space, with a satisfying variety of food and beverage offerings, and a satisfactory (but not ideal) quality of design. I compare this to one other cafe that is centered around working and studying; Atomic boasts a much nicer vibe and higher quality furniture, but a smaller (yet satisfactory) menu. If there are updates I would crave: more electric outlets/power strips. add seats with arm rests to relieve shoulder strain. Reserva una mesa ahora
Overrated. They’re a nice spot without a ton of competition so I understand the love they get. But their prices are pretty outrageous. A latte, cold brew, and 2 croissants just cost me $24. Also, their menu that hangs above the check out area is less than effective. It has 0 description of their drinks, many of which are just called “something bear”. How am I supposed to know what a King Kong cold brew is? Dessert oasis down the street is just as good with more fair prices.
I recently spent the day in downtown Royal Oak and decided to stop by this café for coffee with a friend. I ordered the lavender latte, and it was amazing! My friend opted for the Mexican hot chocolate, which was equally delightful. The café seems to be quite popular, bustling with activity, and the service was impressively fast. If you're in the downtown Royal Oak area, this spot is definitely worth checking out! Food: 5/5, Service: 5/5, Atmosphere: 4/5.
This is an amazing coffee shop in Royal Oak. It has a modern and relaxed atmosphere, and the coffee is outstanding. The location is convenient and easy to find. During the winter, it's delightful to sit inside and enjoy the view of the street. They also offer a variety of pastries and food options.
Atomic Coffee is my number 1 spot in Royal Oak! Not only do they have amazing coffee, but the service is always amazing. It's a great spot to post up and do some work, read, or catch up with a friend. It's very spacious and always very clean : P.s. the honey vanilla late is my favorite! Reserva una mesa ahora
