Atti's cafe has the locally friendly service without regard to someone's perceived status, providing cakes, coffee, tea, and small breakfast menu.Right across the street from a hospital, on a relatively run-down area, Atti's along with Golden Thai/Big Mama Hotel, Relais de Savanna, Kamine & Wein, and Punjab Foods, form the bulwark of cultural food access points for the casual and regular visitor. This is a simple, inexpensive café. The additional attentiveness and lack of business-as-usual heavy-handedness, give it four and a half stars.

Been there several times, I find it too overpriced. Their coffee is good, that's true. But their pastries are not special at all, I mean, €1.50 for a bun with cheese only in it??? And the choice is very strange, croissants with nothing in it and these buns with cheese that's all! No chocolate buns, nothing. Really strange. Back corner at U Residenzstr is still my favorite bakety in the hood

It had just started to sprinkle rain on us as we were walking home, and we decided to duck in for a flat white & some peace & quiet. We found both here! The coffee is wonderful. The service(while I am not sure spoke any english) was VERY polite & fast.

Unpretentious. Best coffee for the price in Berlin. No drink here is more than €3, and that includes the shakes. The owner's mother makes the delicious cakes herself. I go here at least once a week. Wish they were open on the weekends too!
